Our Story

Cast & Hook Fishing was founded in 2021 by Richard and Lindsay Puente, a husband-and-wife couple. Richard lost his brother Mike to suicide in 2010 after returning home from Iraq 3 months prior. Both Richard and Lindsay have had their struggles coping with PTSD. Richard served in the U.S. Army for 12 years and is currently a Law Enforcement Officer. Lindsay served in the U.S. Army for 8 years and now has her own private practice as a licensed mental health provider who specializes in working with Veterans, health care providers, and those struggling with alcohol and drug addictions. Helping and giving back to those who serve is something both Richard and Lindsay are passionate about.
